The German Award for Sustainability Projects was presented on 06.06.2023 at a festive award ceremony by the Deutschen Institut für Service-Qualität in cooperation with the news channel ntv and the DUP Entrepreneur.
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that DC Connected has won the award in the category Service - Mobility for the project Schutzbrief 4.0.
The innovative and relevant project demonstrates a successful use of the digitization of motor vehicles that can have a strong added value for the entire industry.
The Schutzbrief 4.0 project enables digital and environmentally conscious roadside assistance for motor vehicles with the help of cloud-based diagnostic functions. At DC Connected, we have digitized and harnessed the know-how from vehicle maintenance. With the help of Connected Car interfaces and car manufacturers, we are building a digital remote diagnostics platform. This enables players in the automotive aftermarket to remotely diagnose and, if necessary, solve vehicle problems across manufacturers without necessarily requiring a tow truck and transport to the workshop.
In Europe alone, 93 percent of the 350 million vehicles are expected to be connected by 2035 and have the potential for digital assistance on the road. With the digital solution, all players at different points in the life cycle of a vehicle can exploit the full potential for time, cost and emission reductions.
