Award for Ralf Christ Kfz-Meister Fachbetriebe & DC Connected in the digitalization category
We are proud to announce that Ralf Christ Kfz-Meister-Fachbetriebe and DC Connected have been awarded the prestigious Automotive Business Award 2024 in the Digitalization category. The award ceremony took place on 18 June 2024 and was organized by kfz-betriebe, Bank Deutsches Kraftfahrzeuggewerbe GmbH (BDK), CG Car-Garantie Versicherungs-AG, Deutsche Automobil Treuhand (DAT), Loko-Soft, mobile.de and TÜV Nord Mobilität.
Our application for this year's award was based on the innovative project of the virtual automotive technician JOY. This groundbreaking development not only simplifies processes in repair stores, but also supports technicians and service staff and thus counteracts the shortage of skilled workers.
JOY is a virtual automotive technician based on artificial intelligence that performs diagnostic tasks independently. Thanks to her trained expertise and the use of remote diagnostic functions of networked vehicles, JOY can detect faults and problem patterns in vehicles and suggest efficient solutions.
One example of the use of JOY is the virtual service acceptance. As soon as a customer arranges a repair appointment and provides their vehicle details, JOY can check the vehicle digitally in the background. It analyzes potential problems in advance and attaches detailed solution proposals and complete protocols to the order. This saves valuable time in workshop operations and allows technicians to focus on their core tasks.
JOY can be integrated into workshop operations in a variety of ways. Technicians, service advisors and office staff can chat or speak directly with JOY. It can also be integrated into existing DMS systems via API interfaces so that information can be transferred in real time.
This award is a significant recognition of our solution for innovation and digitalization in the automotive industry. We are proud to have created a solution with JOY that significantly improves efficiency and service quality in workshops.
